[Bowdoin plans to send out ED2 decisions on Feb 7 and regular admissions decisions on March 23 as per article in today’s issue of the student newspaper.](http://orient.bowdoin.edu/orient/article.php?date=2012-01-27§ion=1&id=1) Other interesting tidbits: a slight uptick in applications (2%); a substantial increase in ED2 applications (from 258 to 288); an increase in applicants of color; and 16 gap-year admittees (members of the class of 2016 that were admitted last year)

Do you know how they are releasing the decisions?
Email, snail mail, or otherwise? On the Bowdoin wesbite it says US residents will recieve decisions by mail, but does that mean they are not also releasing decisions by email?

The ED I decisions were by mail only for US students - no email or portals involved.

They’re sending out ED2 decisions today. They send American decisions by snail mail and email international kids on the same day they send the letter.

confirmed via [url=http://www.facebook.com/Bowdoin]Bowdoin’s facebook page that ED2 decisions are indeed going into the mail today/url (e-mail if you have an international address)

Does anyone know when ED2 decisions come out?
