ED2 vs. Regular Admissions Chances for 2020

Please tell us any specific information you have heard about the difference between ed2 and Reg decision acceptance rates. The school doesn’t separate these stats, but many on cc say that the chances are about the same or only slightly better, as compared to ED1. Other places, it says ED1 and ED2 have the same advantage for students. Any help might help our family make the right decision. We are weighing whether to wait to learn about other scholarship opportunities, or to apply ED2 for the advantages it might hold. What are the specific ED2 advantages, anyone? Thanks so much.

The difficult thing is, that information truly isn’t available. At my regional information session, the admissions officers said that the ED1 rate was high but the ED2 rate was about the same as RD. However, some of the other things they said I found to be incorrect so I’m not sure what they said was correct.
