lol dostoyevsky...you = me. except at the last minute i decided not to do g-town even though i desperately wanted SFS...i realized i'd be the only white Russian Jewish girl on the campus lol.

i want penn so bad. but it's likely i'll be rej...def...nope i can't even say the words.

Cornell
Yale
Columbia
Tufts
NYU-Stern (just because my mom went there...I don't really like the campusless-ness <-- not a word)
William and Mary
Rutgers new brunswick as a safetyyy.

harvard, yale, stanford, uchic (EA), georgetown, umich, tufts, dartmouth, cornell, nyu, but hopefully i don't need to :-)
i wish penn was in boston, instead of philly

if penn was in boston then it wouldnt be penn at all...

it would be Mass....

my comment only sounded dumb b/c i'm tired, i'm a bit biased towards boston

I know what you were getting at. Boston is an awesome town.

but Philly is too, and penn is distinctly philadelphian....

i don't know philly well at all, but there's one thing where it's better than even boston!
after i visited penn, i was gettin lunch and i saw a store that sells banana ice cream! how cool is that? i've been looking for it since i was 7!

Penn is just amazing. Harvard and BC were so much drearier when I saw them.

I'm prob. biased b/c I don't want to go to school too far from home...i have a 2.5 year old brother and don't want him to grow up without me. a 2 hour drive is better than a 4 hour one in my eyes

Dude..you guys are complaining? I am all the way down here in Arizona! Going to Penn's like a whole country away from my folks!! Gosh...I am going to totally miss'em.

Going from home to Penn and Penn to home is gonna suck. It's gonna be all traffic jams and stuff like that. Boo.

you live a mile away!!!

i know, Catch...even Cornell is a stretch for me lol. I love my fam, i know it's tabu but it's true. :-D

for example, i just asked my brother: "When i go away, will you call me?" and he said "Yes!" so I asked him what he'd tell me...and he said "That i love you." and he's not even 3 lol

choco, you're not going to live on campus?

I'll probably talk to my family a lot via AOL.

I talk to my sister in Lancaster almost everyday...

yeah, I'm gonna live on campus. But I mean when I move in and out and go home for thanksgiving and stuff. I'll be in traffic the whole time... that sucks...

it's better than my 8 hr drive, from philly to new york city traffic to boston to home
my parents keep telling me that i shouldn't worry if i don't get in, b/c there's always something in cambridge (only 30 minutes away)...

yeah chocoman. 1 mile is better than the entire trip up to Columbia...esp. on thanksgiving. I was in Penn Station on Sunday when everyone was going home from NYC after t-giving weekend...holy crap...it was scary. everyone with gigantic suitcases crammed in trying to find their trains to Philly, Dover, Boston, DC, etc. not fun.

renny, you are insane. u definitely win the posts/day

I've just decided (actually, I've decided this long ago) that I will retract my Penn app if deferred to go to Chicago (I think I am in....hopefully...crosses fingers)...:(

and if i get deferred and get in to northwestern, i'm prolly going there
our campuses would be like half an hour apart ^^
