<p>Shady: Thanks! I was so proud of us for being blue! Months and months of putting up with mindless conservative propaganda, I felt so vindicated. Just remember back to all the ridiculous rumors you heard about socialism/communism and every other bs comment. I put up with that everyday. Laughed at for going to Obama rallies...but it was all worth it.

<p>They were AMAZING. God, it was fantastic. At the end, Colin was like, "And now we're going to sing a song for this new era" and he played Sons and Daughters and the entire club sang along. God, it was incredible.</p>
<p>I went to an Obama rally too! I was super-involved, though I couldn't vote, grrr. At least I'm a Marylander--not exactly a swing state.</p>
<p>Man, I want to wait to get the letter, just so I have some tangible rejection or something, but yeah, I'm not going to be able to wait. Mannnnnnnnnnnn, this has been the worst wait ever.</p>
<p>I used to consider getting the letter far superior. But then in the face of the actual deadline I realized that that's only great if you get the thick envelope. The mental torture and anticipation between 5p.m. EST and mail delivery on Monday is very much unnecessary if they're just going to send me a thin envelope.</p>
<p>loutre- my last final is the 11th also. it's going to be my hardest final as well. i have NO IDEA how i'll be able to even write one word that doesn't start with BR and end in OWN.</p>

<p>Okay, I've been wondering about this.. it seems like everyone has been talking about having finals and stuff soon, and I don't have any. I'm guessing this is just a difference in school policy (I have mid-year exams late January and then final exams in June) so how many finals do you guys actually have? 4, one at the end of each quarter? Or 2, one now and one in.. whenever?</p>
<p>One for each class at the end of each semester. I'm in four classes, so four now and four in May.</p>

<p>A lot of schools have them after winter break, which seems like the worst for me. Worrying about them that whole time. We have ours just before.</p>
<p>Mine are just before the break too (although up until last year it was in January) but not until next week.</p>
<p>Because I'm at a college, my courses are on the semester system-- different from my high school where most of them are yearlong.</p>
<p>i'm not gonna be able to sleep this week. :[</p>
<p>shoot. 13 ppl from my school are applying and we're a pretty well known school too. >.<</p>

I will be decorating the christmas tree with the family. Absorbing, fun and a good reminder that there are more important things in life than college admissions! </p>
<p>and if I get in I might just dye my hair red.....it would be appropriate and I've always wanted to do it.</p>
<p>I'm going to get a hair cut/blow out! That way, if i get accepted, then i get accepted AND have nice hair, but if i get rejected/deferred, i still have nice hair :D</p>
