EDers -- where will you open the email?

my parents told me to not check my mail until i finish my other apps... they are trying desperately to prepare me for the worst... i just cant seem to get my self motivated to do those other apps

I'm annoyed, my blackberry isn't getting e-mails and it's near decision time, I need to fix it. If I fail to fix it I'll have to check it on ye old desktop.

i saw the closet idea and i was quite a fan.
this thursday, friday, saturday, and monday nights @ 4:55PM (up until we actually get the darned email) i will be locked (figurative) in my closet, with no light except that of the LCD of the computer. i will set up a comfy seating area ahead of time (haha like my beanbag chair will fit in the crawlspace that is my closet) so i do not hit my head on my suitcases and storage boxes if i faint (from getting in or not, either way). in the minutes before, i will be sitting on the beanbag chair with a wet washcloth on my right, waiting extremely impatiently. i bet that the email isn't going to come until a few minutes after 5pm anyway, and i'll freak out when that happens (OMG IT'S 5PM WHERE THE HELL IS MY EMAIL) and when i finally get it, i might have to wait a few seconds before clicking on the subject line, to prepare myself for the results...
it's so sad that the next four years of my life are going to be determined by a measly email.

wouldn't it be horrible if there was a snow storm that somehow knocked out the electricity right at 445 and then i couldnt read my email?!

^In that case, I would love forever (not really, I guess it depends on the decision) whomever invented Crackberries and the like. I don't have one myself but have friends who would lend me theirs for a few minutes, or however long it takes to find out lol.

wow. i have an iphone so i could still look it up. i didnt really think that scenario through that well huh?

ok well revised scenario. it's snowing so badly that, when walking out of school i slip on the ice and break my phone. and the electricity is out.

now that would be bad.

oh wow, there is no pessimism pervading this forum at all =P

i don't think we'll get an actual email saying yes or no, the email that they sent today sort of suggested that we'll get an email saying its done and then we have to login to our online application to see if we got in or not...maybe that changes the dynamic a little? not so simple as just logging into our email, i dont know.

hmmm yeah. they'll probably email us saying ok go check your acct... so nerve-wracking.
