does anyone have the ed1, ed2, and regular pool stats from years past - like how many applied and were accepted first round / second round, etc? I'd be interested in seeing the pattern of about how many students apply second round ED and what those chances are!

Early Decision

Enrolled 179

Regular Decision

All Applicants

I have never seen a breakdown on the EDI vs EDII

you have never seen a breakdown between ED1 or 2 because there is no difference in the minds of the admissions officers.

if you apply ED 2 you still get looked at the same as if you had applied ED1. The only reason they have ED 2 is because they know some students don’t want to choose their #1 school in November and would rather have 2 extra months

We heard recently that Kenyon admitted a large percentage of the incoming class ED1 and many ED2’s would likely be deferred to regular so they would not have too large a percentage admitted ED.
