EDII applicants!

Who else applied early decision II? I'm getting pretty nervous--one week to go!

Mailing of Notification of Acceptance Letter was postmarked Feb 9th, 2012 for last year. Wondering will it be the same for this year?

And the ED1 letters this year were post-marked 12-12 (or a lot of them were…). Last year the 9th was a Thursday I think, this year it’s a Saturday… so who knows?

I received an email from Pomona Admissions yesterday (2-7-2013) stating that I would receive my ED2 decison within the next week. That seems to substantiate that they will be mailed out well before February 15th. Fingers crossed that I get in.

Huh, I didn’t get an email… But I’m trying not to worry, so I’m sure it’s fine.

hopefully not getting an email doesn’t mean anything…

me no email… so… nervous.

I wouldn’t worry about the email thing. I was an ED1 applicant and I heard nothing from Pomona up until I got my letter, which turned out to be an acceptance.

Received rejection letter. Letter postmarked Feb 8th 2013. Good luck to everyone.

preciousumi–I’m sorry! Good luck with your other colleges :). If you don’t mind me asking, where do you live?

Southern California. Good luck to you!!! Hope you get in.

Pomona will still let us know by email on the 15th right? Does anybody know roughly what time?

I really wish I applied EDII, since it’s by far my top choice. Only school that really compares for me is Harvey Mudd, and I still have to wait nearly two months for both of them.

oh no i’m gonna cry so hard when i get my rejection letter

live about an hour away from claremont so i’m expecting my decision will come tomorrow…incredibly nervous

Does Pomona defer early decision applicants? Or just reject?

they defer

all i can think about are the flaws in my application/transcript…so nerve wracking

If I get rejected from Pomona, I’m hoping that Scripps will accept me.
I think I’ll get it tomorrow, too… at least, if it’s an acceptance I should. If it’s a rejection it’ll probably come later :(.
Also: yes, I’ve convinced myself that my essays sucked and everything else was downright weak…

I’m from Arizona so I think I’ll get mine tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest. Already got deferred from Yale EA and I don’t know if I can handle another deferral because the wait until April will kill me :</p>
