EDII Countdown

Where is everyone who applied early decision 2? I feel like I am the only one. Only 15 more days til decisions!

is no one else applyin ed2!?!

i am! it's now starting to hit me that we'll be getting our acceptances/deferrals/rejections a week or so. i'm so nervous, good luck to everyone!

i get the letter during a 4day weekend...it better be a happy one.

how do they notify you of decisions?
email? website? or only by mail?

for ED1 it was only by mail... In my school there are 2 EDII kids that I know about which worked out great for me being the only ED1.

I think on this board u only find the most hardcore college kids who likely made up their minds earlier and went ED1. The only exceptions are the kids who were rejected ED1 elsewhere.

was the envelope thick or was it just a normal letter? did it come earlier than dec 15th?

OMG... HOLD UP
i applied EDII...
ARE YOU LYING TO ME??
WE FIND OUT SOON?
I THOUGHT WE FOUND OUT IN APRIL.. I KNOW THAT'S NOT 'EARLY' BUT I FIGURED IT JUST SHOWED COMMITMENT SINCE IT'S BINDING. OMG I'M FREAKING OUT NOW!!!!

i am freaking out now. i'm so glad i came on this website!!! good luck everyone.. and i'm sorry if you guys think i'm retarted hahah

The acceptance arrives in a regular size envelope with 3 pieces of paper tri-folded. EDII letters should be MAILED OUT by 2/15 but our ED1 letters were sent a few days before that. Good luck guys!

Good luck guys! I wish I was finding out with you! I almost did ED II...ended up doing RD because my parents didn't want me to make that final final decision. =/

Thanks miss independent! (ironic user name because of your parents.. haha) I guess there's no downside to doing RD except that you won't find out until April. Either way, I hope you get in! Good luck to you, too!

8 days... definitely so nervous!!!!

i just got the card confirming my materials have been received`

ughh i'm so nervous too!!!

1 weeek......

the called my guidance office about midyear grades.. good sign .. bad sign.. who knows..

anxious..

I bet it's a good sign!

I am sooo nervous too!

5 days.... i hope it doesnt come later than the 15th.. that would suck

Best of luck to everyone!!! I know how nerve wracking it is to wait. Nicole, be sure to tell me ASAP when you get your letter! I'll try and be on AIM.

hahaha it is ironic... and kind of a lie, stole it from a Kelly Clarkson song and figured it was fitting of a college forum, though. hehe

I would love to find out now, but I am okay with waiting... what I'm worried about is if I don't get in, I don't want to regret not doing ED II when maybe I would have had a slightly better chance, committing to them and all. Pretty sure I made it very clear that I REALLY want to go there, though.

But whatever... almost there guys!

I'm so nervous!

Vandygirl.. I sort of remember you getting your letter a few days early. Do you remember the date you got it? Congrats again!!!!
