so today is the official "february 15" day ahh that's so scary!! i think there's a chance i'll get it today but i'm pretty sure i'll get it tomorrow. i am SOOO so nervous. i read something the other day that said something like "between the extremes of elation and disappointment you still have to find reality".. which is so true, but yet, this letter will decide what my reality is going to be for the next 4 years! okay i'm freaking myself out haha. good luck everyone!

no letter in Connecticut today....:-(

No letter in California yet. I was so stoked to get it today too!! They should issue us a password and username to check online, the've gotta know we're all dying to hear from them!!! And have been for months...ugh!!

No letter in Atlanta either-----

atlanta is really close too! good luck, im sure itll come soon if they were mailed on the 12th.

I'm pretty sure they were mailed on the 13th.

Either way... is mail delievered on President's Day?

How do you know what day they were mailed on? This is crazy....our house has been on edge for three days now!

I asked the admissions office..

I would have figured kids from the south would have heard today.

I thought we would have as well. Our mail has to go to downtown Atlanta and then it is sent out to the suburbs------I'm guessing tomorrow then.

Yeah I'm thinking maybe even Saturday for CT. I wonder if any tennessee kids got letters today... ugh this wait is killing me!!!

Mail isn't mailed on President's day. Nicole, I really want you to get in.

sfrench where in Atlanta are you from? I'm from the Johns Creek/ Alpharetta area, and I haven't heard back yet either.

We live in Duluth. My daughter applied and after the letter not arriving today, I got online to see what I could fine out. Her friends who were accepted for EDII found out on the 14th of December so we assumed we would know by now---------

I meant her friends who were accepted ED1 in December

yeah i'm really surprised you haven't found out in atlanta yet. i didn't think i would find out today and i didn't! hopefully tomorrow =)

I'm sure the majority of you will hear tomorrow or Saturday. If not, I believe you can call for your decision Monday. When my D was admitted ED1 in Dec. '04, letters were mailed on Tuesday or Wednesday and they would not give phone decisions prior to the following Monday. Her letter finally showed up on Friday afternoon and we live in a neighboring state. A fellow applicant from her high school received his letter on Thursday and when we called to see if we could get her decision Friday morning, the answer was a firm no. There is just no accounting for the mail, particularly right now with all the weather issues across the country. Just remember that despite no mail on Monday, you can call and receive your decision from the admissions office at that time.

thats good to know. I hope the poor weather in the midwest doesnt affect the west coast mail too!

my roommate has applied ED2 and we live in Tennessee, but have gotten no letter
he called Vanderbilt and asked if he could get his decision by phone and they said no
hopefully he will get it tomorrow...

can you check online?

nope!

thanks mike!!
