EDII or RD? help

<p>i received an e-mail from wes saying that i still have a chance to do EDII (i applied RD) and i'm trying to decide if i want to do this or not. i know the percentages for ED are higher than RD, but i think that's misleading because very qualified applicants apply...
about me: i guess u can put me around the top ~20% maybe a bit higher. when i visited wes, i wasn't too impressed by the campus (but then again, this was early august). but i'd still consider wes my top choice. </p>

<p>also, do i receive less financial aid if i apply EDII? i really need financial help. </p>

<p>ED probably does improve your chances slightly. The fin aid package would be the same as if you were admitted RD. BUT you should apply ED only if the place is really your first choice. If you have doubts, why not wait for RD, see if you get in and then visit again? For what it's worth, having been to Wes many times and having visited a couple dozen other schools, I think it's a pretty great campus. Good luck.</p>
