I’ve applied to Bates College as an EDII applicant.
I was wondering if anyone has received any ID for checking the application list.
Most of the colleges are sending out the emails regarding this but Bates has no reply yet.

They were late giving portal information for Early Decision I candidates. We didn’t get the portal information until right before the decisions were being handed out.

Bates does not do a very good job in communicating with prospective and accepted applicants. Not sure why this is the case; perhaps they are understaffed in the admissions office.

Yeah I’m international (From Georgia) and I just got accepted to Bates ED2!!!
I am so delighted!!!
Anybody else here?

I got my letter today!!! I am headed to Bates!!! My parents are not happy about the financial aid however…

@EkeAnTandze: Hello, I am international too but i have not received anything from them yet. Did they send letters to you to your home address or your temporary address?

Congratulations! but how so, mate? Bates is supposed to have 100% need meet! Now I’m worried about my own aid! Mail needs to arrive asap

Hello, I am still waiting for their mail! I received e-mailed yesterday night (My time zone, Tbilisi). What are your initials? Because my last name starts with A and I’m usually at the top of every mailing/emailing list! And the email can’t be mass sent, because it has attached file inside which says their decision about you with your name mentioned, so they kind of need to send it to everybody separately (I assume).

I’m sure you’ll get your answer soon!

Congratulations guys! I was wondering if anyone knows when regular decision applicants will receive an ID for checking their application information?

I’m international and just as absurd as it might sound, I just now received email with my pin and id! (Now that I’ve been accepted). However, you don’t need to worry, if they miss any documents, they will most likely contact you via email!

I’m an international student and got my acceptance email! BUT there weren’t any mention about the financial aid. Is it true that the financial package comes via the postal mail? I’m still waiting for the postal mail though.

My daughter applied RD and received Friday the portal info via mail.

Yes, I’m exactly in the same position. Congratulations on acceptance btw
