Edit Common App Essay after submitting to more than one college

<p>I have seen multiple people say that you can edit the essay for the common application after submitting to one college. If I submit to more than one college can I still edit my essay if I haven't unlocked it before?</p>

<p>Yes, you can unlock a total of twice for editing. It’s fine to submit several apps, unlock, revise, submit a few more, unlock, revise again, submit all the rest.</p>
