How does the application/testing work for this class? What if you can attend two different sessions? If I can get into this class, I'll drop my stupid R&C class that I am #2 on the waitlist for. But one of those sessions is in conflict with my R&C class, I can only attend one class but I don't know my chances of getting into either of these classes. I'm sure I'm not the only one with waitlist problems.

What is the reasonably thing for a student to do during the most desperate situation when telebears is being a *****?

On the first week of classes, you attend ANY of the different sections even if you’re not signed up for the class, or even on the waitlist for the class. Basically, the first day of each of the sections is meant for giving out the application. On the application (it just asks you to answer some questions in a paragraph or so) there is a section where you can check off which sections you are can attend, and which ones you would like to get into. The section admin will email you by the end of the first week whether you’re in, and which section you got into.

You have a relatively low chance of getting into Ed190 YOUR FIRST TIME APPLYING unless you are a senior, or you have completed many education classes before, or you have a significant background in the education field (tutoring, shadowing, etc).

I don’t know because I’ve never taken the class. If I had to GUESS, you show up to the first day and the instructor will give you the CEC based on a similar application process (but only for one section).

can i just get an application and leave? last time i went to get an application it was on the last day and they forced us to do the application in class while they held the intro class. complete bs…

I want to ask what the application is about?
is it just filling out personal information?

I think i read somewhere around that you have to write some sort of short essay or something like that
is that true? and what would be topics like typicaaly
