has anyone signed up for this??? what is the difference between 98 and 198? i remembered hearing about it at calso about it being a leadership class...what really is it?

It’s just a class to help get you settled into Cal and an easy way to hit 13 units. My understanding of the difference is that 98 is intended for freshmen while 198 is intended for transfers.

from what i know there are different 198 depending on the CCN
so although 2 classes might be called education 198 but they might cater to different students.
the one i m gonna take teaches u how to study and what not >_> others cater to veteran students, returning students, etc etc

ok how did you know which was which?

Here’s the course list for 198 sections: [TRSP Academic Courses](http://reentry.berkeley.edu/courses.htm)

I don’t know about 98 though.

its a course that can be considered 98 or 198 depending on ur academic status.
junior and senior would be 198 freshman and sophmore would be 98 if i m not wrong

^^ Yup, LD = 98; UD = 198.
