Does anyone know what exactly is involved in education law? Other than becoming a solicitor to a school district, what else can one do in that profession?

You could also work in the General Counsel's office of a university.

You could also represent children and their families in both administrative and legal proceedings involving the receipt of educational benefits under IDEA and other federal regulations that guarantee and full and appropriate education to all children. Not very lucrative, but certainly very rewarding work.
