Have any of you taken EdX courses? If you have, I have a few quick questions. Is their estimate of time required per week accurate in your experience? Are the courses interesting/worthwhile? Is the material covered close to actual college courses? How often are tests? Any other comments on your experience are also welcome. Thanks in advance!

I “audited” an edX course from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Govt. I was pumped at first: I was auditing a course from HKS! However, it quickly lost its zeal. It was the simplest of material, stuff that anybody interested in a subject would already know. I just was directed to watch YT videos and respond with MC questions. As an auditor, there was really no work to produce, and nothing to do, hence why I left after a few log ins.
If you are actually submitting work, then it is worth listing. If you are only an auditor, there are better things to do with your time.

I am currently registered for two upcoming courses. I plan on fully participating, so hopefully the classes will be useful and help me in future studies.
