EE 20N + 40: Attend lab/disc before first lecture?

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I'm wondering: for EE 20N and EE40, I have lab and discussion before the first lecture. do I still need to attend these sections or will the gsi's not even show up since it's before the first lecture? </p>

<p>For one of my class, the professor told us discussions start the 2nd week but lectures start on the 26th.</p>

<p>Labs usually don’t start until a week after.</p>

<p>The reason i ask is because for Physics 7A last year I had a lab (or was it a discussion?) before the first lecture, and we DID have section and worked on some stuff. So I wonder if it’s the same for these courses.</p>
