If we are lucky and my daughter is admitted EE to Wellesley, when will we receive her financial aid package?

I don't think a financial aid package is sent until a formal decision is made by Wellesley, which would be April 1st.

Strictly speaking, EE is not an admittance, which is why the good letter is called a "Likely." Which is why financial aid has to wait for April 1 or thereabouts.

For TheDad,

Thank you for the clarification. I think I was using wishful thinking in equating EE and admission. Now, I just have to hope for EE 'likely', admission, and then a good financial aid package. Your response to many questions are good and I appreciate them. THanks for participating.

Well, the admission is pretty much pro forma if you get the Likely, but it's the technical bridge that has to be crossed for the financial aid to be offered. I've not seen/heard of any Likely not being admitted in the three years I've been following this. There may have been one not admitted in some extreme circumstance in the years immediately preceding that but then there may not...between a brain-cramped memory and you-know-how-rumors-go....
