EE and Physics school dilemma

I am primarily interested in Electrical Engineering but also intend on obtaining a solid background in Physics. My two choices are UCLA and UCSB.

What attracts me to UCLA is the high overall regard to the Engineering program, but what draws me away (from what I have concluded from looking at the major requirements) is the lack of flexibility in terms of electives (ie. I can’t take electives from the Physics Dept., etc.).

On the other hand, UCSB appeals to me because of a well regarded Electrical Engineering program as well as the option to minor in Physics, which guarantees I will have greater exposure to more in-depth Physics courses.

I would greatly appreciate any insight in helping me make a decision. Would it be worth it foregoing the chance to formally minor in Physics at UCSB to go to UCLA?

PS. How would this decision be affected by the fact that I might go to Grad school for EE?
