EE Notifications

The whole decision question actually spurred ME to inquire this morning (and my daughter was already been accepted in the ED round, so it affects us not one whit).

The kindly-sounding older woman who fielded my call told me a message will be posted on everyone’s My Wellesley page tomorrow, Feb. 16th, informing them that decisions will be coming out on the 23rd. She apologized for the confusion which has reigned.

Ahhh so the puzzle has finally come together.

Thank you, marama, for clarifying this and to everyone else who made calls.

It sucks to wait another week but I’m just happy to hear in February rather than March or April, assuming I don’t get a “possible”. :P

“Early Evaluation notifications will become available on Wednesday, February 23. You will be able to view your evaluation online beginning at 7pm Eastern Standard Time. Evaluations will remain posted until Tuesday, March 15.”

…

Marama: I talked to the same lady this morning. She said there was some miscommunication about the date, but it is next week.

to quote my daughter “Now today is a stupid day!”

she’s bummed

marama, thank you for calling and clearing up the situation. Sorry for any confusion that I may have added to the mix. I was simply reporting the info that was given to me last month. Hope everyone hears good news next Wed…and congrats to your daughter getting in ED!

Thanks, guitargal. Now all my daughter has to do is finish out this semester without senioritis ruining her second-semester GPA.

Sorry the agony of waiting will be prolonged, but good luck to one and all! And when you ALL your get your likelies : ), you might think of visiting the Facebook page for the Wellesley College Class of 2015. There are about 45 people on there already from the ED round. Who knows? Your future roommate might already be there.

This whole process is so ridiculously painful. Anyone else having mailman hallucinations?

Did anyone get the notification today? I didn’t get a email telling me to check on the 23rd

it’s posted on the MyWellesley Portal, under “admission notification”

“Early Evaluation notifications will become available on Wednesday, February 23. You will be able to view your evaluation online beginning at 7pm Eastern Standard Time. Evaluations will remain posted until Tuesday, March 15.”

Ah, the agony.

Is it possible that they mailed a letter that will arrive before they post notifications on the site?

My understanding from other posts on this thread is everyone who applied EE will find out on Feb. 23rd by using your Username and Password to sign into the MY Wellesley login page. Decisions will be posted at 7 PM on the 23rd. I don’t believe any letters will be mailed prior to the 23rd. GOOD LUCK!!

aklsdjjadsflllll

I’m going to be in the middle of rehearsal when decisions come out. maybe I’ll set up my laptop in the dressing room and conveniently ask to “go to the bathroom” at 4…

Hahaha way to be strategic. I have a biology night lab that day so I’ll be hanging out with some bacteria when decisions come out. :(

^hahaha

I’ll be at track practice. Maybe the adrenaline will help me run faster.

Good luck everyone. Two more days :D

freaking out.

this is my 4th decision (out of 10) but the other three were match/safety schools. This is the first of my “Big Freaking Deal” schools.

I dreamt about it last night. oh goodness. trying to pay attention in school on wednesday is going to be impossible. two days three hours fourteen minutes.

Any theories as to why it’s 7pm and not 5?

This is just a theory…perhaps Wellesley has the time set for “after business hours” to prevent an onslaught of phone callls to the admissions office.

^^Ohhhh I can so see that. I’d be scared of the rage of rejected girls too.

My friend applied ED to George Washington and they had an almost identical system…notifications via tracking system at 7 EST. She was able to log in and find out at 5ish.

Wednesday will be nerve-racking for all of us, to say the least. I plan to check the “My Wellesley” web page immediately after school and keep checking every few minutes or so, just in case they decide to post decisions earlier than 7 PM.
