EE or CE ?

Hi,
I am a high school senior and I was just wondering if anyone knew the specific differences between Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. They seem extremely similiar and many schools combine both into one major. How are they different in terms of what you study and what you are prepared to do with a degree?

Thanks

They are very similar but from what I hear CompE has more CS classes. I think it is harder. As far as I know. I'm sorry I can't elaborate more. EE is more electrical stuff and CE is actual computer hardware.

yea CE has more CS classes and the work u do is mostly computer hardware related...EE has many fields you can go into: power, optics, networking, signal processing etc...but yea if you have EE degree you can definitely work in a CE degree field...it's a good masters idea actually.
