EE Question

Probability and statistics are going to be involved, to a certain degree, in most engineering disciplines. I hated probstat, too, and was glad to be "done" with it, and then I got into seismic engineering and risk management models and stochastic and probabilistic models and blah blah blah... I was like, "Wh...!! THIS IS PROBABILITY! I was NOT told that there would be probability involved!!"

It was a bit of a rude awakening, but I got through it because it was directly related to stuff I liked.

And yeah, Civ's far better shielded from outsourcing. It's just plain cheaper to hire a local firm, what with field visits and such.

but Civ's also have the lowest salary out of most if not all engineering fields.

Thanks for the help, everyone. I will look more into CivE, MechE, and EE.

And one more ques.: Since my school does offer audio eng, which is what I'm really interested in, can I major in MechE, or would it be better for me to stick w/ EE?
