Ee

I just got accepted to EE, but not to Comp. E, which was my desired major.
I want to be a computer programmer...so can I still do this with an EE degree, or should I go out of state to U. of Illinois where I've been accepted to Computer Engineering? Problem is the courses between the two are really similar anyway.

So you guys think that I have a good chance at computer programming with an EE degree, or should I go out of state and do Comp. E (for the name alone...the curriculum is very similar). I'm just worried i'll have a hard time finding software dev. internships with an EE degree; I guess after I graduate i'll still be able to break into the industry somehow.

bump…

Maybe you’ll find this explanation useful.

[Computer Science vs. Computer Engineering](Undergraduate Degree Programs - UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences - University at Buffalo)

that has nothing to do with my question, but at least you helped bump my post.
