EE40 or CS61BL over the summer

<p>I'm an EECS major and want to take either EE40 or CS61BL over the summer.
Which one would you recommend?</p>

<p>I'm leaning toward EE and don't have much programming experience other than that from CS61A, which I'm currently in. I hear CS61BL is a drag and can be a lot of work.</p>

<p>Also, I have heard that EE40 during summer is less work and less in-depth, is that right?
If I want to take upper div EE classes like 140, would it be better to take it during the regular semester?</p>

<p>CS61BL is pretty intense in the summer. If you don’t like spending 3 hours a day in the lab 4 times a week, take EE40 instead.</p>
