<p>EECS 10 is based off of programming in C and learning computational methods while EECS 12 is the same with the use of Python instead. Take EECS 10 if you are an EE and take EECS 12 if you are a computer engineer. The difficulty level is based off the professors. Look at ratemyprofessor.com.</p>

<p>Take both… then you will be able to program in 2 languages.</p>
<p>if you take 12, you can then take 20 and then 40 also. eecs 20 covers C. eecs 40 covers java.</p>
