<p>Any student can apply for a UROP (undergraduate research position) in any area of his/her choice – research opportunities aren’t restricted to students majoring in a particular department. </p>
<p>Students interested in robotics might choose any of several majors – EECS, mechanical engineering, and aerospace engineering are good choices.</p>
