Who's scared?

i'm excited :)

march 25th is my bday, but by the time u guys get to see.....it'll be the 26th in australia

i'm scared and excited. I want to know yet I don't want to. hmm..

I'm very nervous.

I know that the writing sample I sent them was pretty bad, and I wish I could change it.

im nervous..but i cant wait either....my writing sample was horrrrrible..

nanaa, what school do you go to? I'm in cali now but I practically grew up in Singapore. I'd be cool if I found out you went to SAS. I love that school. =)

oh i went to anglo-chinese junior college.. :) So why did you move to cali? hm I suppose SAS would be really different from the mainstream schools though.

guys don't sweat the writing sample, i talked to an adcom when he visited my school and he said they are rarely even looked at .. the only time they look at it is when the applicant's command of the english language is called into question

Thank goodness, that's certainly swell. I'm not so bad with English.

terrified.

I don't think I'm going to get in. Heck I don't even know if midyear reports got there or not, some of my colleges got them and some didn't... weird, huh.

how is midd sending it out? email? mail? a website? and how do yall know its the 25th?!

They posted it on their website ;-), and you can find out via internet-decision-checker-pagermabobber

fortunately, that saturday kicks off my spring break. if i somehow fluke into midd, i can schedule a last minute visit, (and get screwed on airfare, i guess) but at least i won't have to miss school

SO is this like the unofficial countdown thread?

what does it mean by available on 25th and then available ONLINE on 26th? it says so on the decision site

it means they send it that friday, the 25th, but most likely (at least for me, in NY) itll get here the next week, like monday the 28th, but knowing that they will post the letter online the saturday the 26th. They're just giving a day to get the mail out before posting it on email. I don't know why exactly but most colleges with online sites do that.

think about this logically. my theory: if they mail it out friday, by the time the letter gets to people, their offices will be closed. on saturday, when online decisions are released, their offices will be closed. this is a great way to calm down upset/irate students -- make 'em wait til monday to whine about their rejection, and maybe they won't have anything to whine about anymore.

will everyones letter be sent on the same day?? I know that some colleges are sending acceptances to the really strong candidates sooner than everyone else.

you guys applied w/o checking the school out?..wow..well if you plan on attending..definitely check it out because it isnt for everyone..

yikes....wiating and waiting and waiting..how many other schools are u guys waiting to hear from?
