Where can we go to check this?

You can access it from your URSA account.

Has everybody already received their eFANs? I haven’t received mine yet :(

I got mine a few days ago.

Mines not up yet either.

By when do we have to accept it?

Before fees are due

So that means before August?

REGISTRATION FEES PAYMENT DEADLINE September 20

[Calendars: Fall 2010](http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/calendar/calf10.htm)

Awesome, thanks!

Another question:
I was under the impression that there were no eligibility requirements for the Federal Direct Loan (aka the Stafford Loan). I looked on my eFAN today, and it only has the UNSUBSIDIZED loan, not the SUBSIDIZED one. What gives? :/

It’s been a year since I read all the loan stuff, but I’m pretty sure it’s the unsubsidized loan that you don’t have to qualify for. The subsidized loan is something the government has to pay for, so you do have to qualify for it. The unsubsidized stafford interest rates are still better than private loans, so it’s still probably worthwhile to go up to the limit (if you need it).

My entire cost of attendance is covered by various scholarships/grants. Will I get the money back that I paid out for my hosing offer?

What your eFan says is what you get (at least your final eFan - it took 2 or 3 before school started, and I had 7 by the end of the year). The initial housing payments are part of the listed price. You don’t get that money back.

I thought ur supposed to get the initial housing payments back.

Ah, I never knew that you had to qualify for the Subsidized Direct Loan! And it was part of my ePAL, too… :(

you NEVER get your initial housing payment back. trust me.

are there any forms we have to send in after accepting our eFAN?

If you took out a loan you’re supposed to pass a couple debt responsibility tests. They basically just make sure you read what’s on the page. I don’t think you have to actually mail anything in, just print out for confirmation.

So the initial housing payment is not part of the total cost of attendance? and I don’t see why we are not getting our initial housing payments back

You’re not getting them back because they ARE part of the total cost of attendance. The initial payments are part of the total housing cost listed on the website. And there’s no point in paying $400 only for them to give it back before you pay 10 grand.
