<p>Didn't look through the entire thing but looks like dependent student income protection will be $6K next year (up from $5,250) and the income cutoff for Auto 0 increased by $1K. Looks like some small increases to the state tax allowances and parent income and savings protection allowances. I'm sure others with sharp eyes and pencils will spot more changes!</p>

<p>Hmm. The asset protection allowances for parents and independent students have gone *down <a href=“again”>/I</a>. For 50 year old older parent/single parent it was 48,800/16,700 in 2011-2012, for 2012-2013 it is 46,600/16000.</p>

<p>Yikes! The asset protection allowance is dwindling faster than I can age.</p>
