<p>By now there should be a lot of people as my D2 who declined their FA (Merit Scholarship worth 20k in 4 years and UT freshman scholarship worth 7k for freshman year only) so the university should may have some funds to relocate, so this may be the best moment for you to try and get some of those funds. The FA people is usually very helpful, it is better if you can reach your counselor directly, but it is sometimes very difficult. In your case, since you have another offer and were admitted to 2 of the most difficult programs to get in, I guess the university will really want for you to stay, so I would definitely give it a try. The best approach would be to make an appointment and go talk in person with your counselor if that is possible for you. If you can’t go personally then call them asap.
