^^
Hey! :)

When you applied, did you put Business as your major?

The Business School [The Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration](http://www.cba.ua.edu/) does give additional scholarships that stack on top of university scholarships.
Hopefully, you’ll get one! I think you’d be a good candidate because you’re OOS. From the b-school website: The priority deadline for all C&BA scholarship applications from high school seniors and new transfer students is December 1 of each year.

If you get a chance to tour Alabama, you’ll be impressed by the b-school, the Business Library and the facilities
Here’s info for the Angelo Bruno Business Library [Angelo Bruno Business Library and Bashinsky Computer Center - The University of Alabama](<a href=“Page Not Found | The University of Alabama”>Page Not Found | The University of Alabama)

In a few days, you’ll get an email with log on info for MyBama. That will let you apply for scholarships - be sure to list your major. You must do the scholarship app ASAP.

The Honors College is awesome. You do have to wait until after you’re accepted to apply to the Honors College, but be sure to do so as soon as you can.
I need to find out if they have scholarships, too. :)

Would you have any opportunities to visit? You will get an invite to Capstone Honors Day in Jan. It’s usually held on MLK weekend.

:) If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask me … :)

** An out-of-state student who goes to UA recently posted on CC that… “UA is recruiting for the best and brightest students nationwide. For many students, it is the money that first interests us in Alabama, we visit, and then we get hooked.” **
