My EFC is 1053, how much should I expect to get from the Pell Grant?

of course dude

What is the “amount” of aid I should receive from the Pell Grant with an EFC of 1053?

@ $4300…

Is that definite swimcatsmom? Like the exact amount?

It depends on whether you’re full time and what your COA is, but the maximum award on the ifap table for your efc is $4300. Table is here:

Ok, thanks.

But no matter what, “everyone” whose EFC is under the limit will automatically receive a Pell Grant?

Well, the school obviously has to be eligible to participate in federal programs. Is there a specific reason you’re worried or think you would qualify but not receive Pell?

Well it was just a thought. I know a lot of students at my school that have an EFC of 0 so they would all be getting the full amount of the Pell Grant. It just seems like a lot of money given to everyone for aid.

The Pell is not campus based aid. It comes from the federal government and you get what your EFC makes you eligible for.

Th SEOG and Perkins on the other hand are campus based aid. While they t still come from the government a school is only given $xx of SEOG and Perkins money to award. Once they have awarded it there is no more.

Oh, I see.
