<p>That said, Yale does look very closely at the CSS Profile and some of those questions are not covered by their NPC. For example, Yale’s CSS profile specifically asks if you own real estate other than your home, the number of properties, their total value and their purchase price. It also asks for the number of cars you own, along with the year, make and model, any non-retirement annuities, the value of 401k accounts, trusts, etc. Depending on your specifics, that could reduce the amount of financial aid your child receives.</p>
