EFC Question

<p>Hi,
I will be entering college in 2008, and my family has a few concerns regarding the financial aid. I have a twin brother who will be entering college the same year. Because both of us are entering school in the same year, does that mean that the EFC for each of us will be half of what it would be with a single child was entering school?</p>

<p>It'll be 1/2, plus a bit. The increase is due to the student summer earnings and assets contribution from each student. It is possible for you and your twin's EFCs to be different, if you and your twin have significantly differing assets (money in your saving accounts, etc), or different job earnings.</p>
