So my EFC is 1758 and I don’t know if its a good or bad value. Is EFC the amount that my mom expect to pay or is it just a value? I am confuse because some posts say its the money and some say its just the value to determine the amount of aid? help? is 1758 a good number? I wanna attend SDSU and I hope my mom is able to help me any help, advice, and suggestion is welcome! 
1758 = $1,758.00.
Up to you whether that is good or bad, and whether the school you go to provides substantial grants.
A better question is, how much can your parents pay each year for four years?

The EFC really only determines if you get a Pell Grant. You will get some Pell it seems.
Are you eligible for Cal grant? If so, you may get your tuition covered. But not likely room and board. Start here to read about costs and aid for SDSU and follow the link to CSU mentor to calculate what your family will have to pay…
