Efc???

What does this mean? At the end of completing my FAFSA it said my EFC was 770 and im not sure if thats good or bad.

thats good. it means colleges think you can pay about 770 per year towards college expenses. that means that you will be eligible for grants etc to cover part of the rest of the cost.

I dont think that can be possible. My parents are both doctors so I would think we would have to pay more than 770 dollars per year. My dad checked it over again and he said it was correct so I'm not sure if its true or if there is a mistake.

You made a mistake. Go to one of those sites that has a financial aid calculator and punch in the income numbers - see what you get. If your parents are earning in excess of 100K, regradless of their espenses, you can be sure that the EFC will be greater than 770. Find out what's wrong and fix it before submitting it.

efc=expected family contribution
