Effect of grammar/spelling mistake

What do you guys think about grammar/spelling mistakes in the Common App? I live on the East Coast and because of the huge snow storm, I did not have power or internet for more than a week. I was rushing to finish my app when I had limited Wi-Fi, so I could submit it before the deadline.

However, when I was reviewing my Common App today, I noticed that I made a mistake in the Activities section: I used the singular form of the noun instead of the plural.

I honestly can't imagine this mistake being the part of the reason I get rejected from a school. Will a school actually reject me for having made a mistake like this one? I'm freaking out in nervousness/anxiety now!!

Unless they see that there are many mistakes in grammar, they will usually overlook it. One grammatical mistake on the common app will and should not cost your admissions to go down the drain.

If they can overlook Clam Farting, they can definitely overlook one grammatical error you made.

^what he said. I just read through that thread again, it made my day ahahaha
