Effect of others applying in your school

If you are applyin ED to Wharton and there are strong applicants also applyin early but to the College, does this affect ur chances as much as if u were applyin early to the college

while its the same AdComm and Comittee that looks Wharton/College students over, its a different acceptance pool. The College kids "compete" with the college applicants, and the Wharton applicants "compete" with the wharton kids. The other kids applying from your school do not affect you in anyways despite contrary belief. They just can't take everyone. My school usually has about 20 Penn ED kids each year. Some years 8 get in, some years 2, and three years ago 24 applied and zero got in (but 6 ended up getting in RD).

If you're the only one applying to Wharton, then dont worry about it. I on the other hand have a whopping 7 kids applying ED to Wharton

i appear to be the only wharton one, thank you for easing my worries on this appreciate it
