Effect of Sibling Legacy

How much does sibling legacy matter at NU? If someone has decent scores(let's say above 2200) and decent grades, is the likelihood that they'll get in very good, or is it still shaky like it is a places like Harvard or something.

You still have to write your essays and have done extracurriculars, if that's what you're asking. It will help, but its far from a guarantee.

i guess i just want to know if it is a factor at all, let's say you have two identical applicants, one has a sibling at the school, will they favor student with sibling legacy?

probably, because my guess is those students are more likely to donate money as alumni if they have multiple members of their family that went there.

anything you read on here is going to be a guess. based on experience, i see a lot of families who send multiple kids to northwestern.
