EFFECTIVENESS of Large Alumni Network

Hey, i am going to be entering as a freshman into Boston University this upcoming fall. I was just wondering if the large alumni network would be benefficial to me later on in my life...i am going into the BU's business program.......also in general, how much of an effect does networking truly have?....i mean i've heard the phrase " its not what you know but who you knwo"....any truth to this..........

thanks for any input

it's the quality of alumni support, not the quantity.

thats interesting............. would BU's be of any "quality"?

quanity helps because they can be found in a lot of places and out of a large sample people are bound to make it high up

Agreed. I believe BU has a large amount of alumni support. However, I think the strongest in both number and quality in the country would be USC's.
