My senior schedule will be:
Ap: Bio, Econ, calc bc, us gov, comp gov
Regular: world lit, concert band (highest level)

How much are my chances changed with this schedule, but no ap world lit?

hi!
I got in EA this year, and I did not have AP Lit. I took our honors thesis class instead.
If you are taking an AP Science, and AP history, and AP Calc…you should be OK.
I wouldn’t be too concerned.

Awesome!! I am currently taking APAmerican Lit, which allows me to do both the Lang and lit exams. So I suppose that helps too, but just curious! Thanks!!

Don’t worry about it!! I took AP calc AB, AP gov, & AP chem this year (i even took arts & crafts and a few other stupid classes) & I still got in early action to BC!! It seems like your senior schedule is loaded, so i dont think lit should be a problem!

Is the English honors level? What level will your foreign language finish at if you have no senior year foreign language?

It is not and Spanish 4. We don’t offer honors sadly.

Honestly, don’t worry about taking non honors English senior year. You have plenty of other hard classes to make up for it! My “English” classes are far from honors. I took a film class (watch movies) and mystery class (more movies) for senior year (no foreign language either). BUT keep in mind you really need to kick some butt in the classes you are in! I was worried last year about not taking AP Lit & for me it was a great decision- there’s too much work senior year to load up even more AP classes. I was accepted to 5 colleges & I’m waiting to hear back from 5 more (advice- don’t apply to 10 colleges, it’s overwhelming.) Good Luck& don’t pile on too many colleges senior year, believe me you don’t need the stress!

O well thank you!! Where have you been accepted?

I’ve been accepted to BC, Villanova (honors program), SUNY Binghamton, Loyola Maryland (with $25,000 scholarship), and Lafayette (with $20,000 scholarship). I’ve been deferred from Georgetown, but I kind of expected that.
