<p>In the 'editing your essays' thread theres one tip that says 'If you think your essay sounds egotistical and pompous, chances are your intended audience does, too.'</p>
<p>Well, for mine I feel there's a slight over-pretentious edge, but my friends who reviewed it said they don't feel that. I hope they are not merely being diplomatic.</p>
