<p>For anyone on here who has worked in admissions, I guess my question would be “would it hurt the applicant to notify the schools he has applied to of the error?” The error is clearly minor, and not intentional. Because here is the other side of the coin … if the applicant does not get in, will he constantly be wondering if he didn’t get in because the college questioned the 60 hours that summer and wondered what else he may have exaggerated on… I would think a simple and brief email to the geographic admissions counselor would be fine… (just not repeated emails…)</p>
