THANKS IN ADVANCE :D

MIT - NYUAD - Stanford - Princeton - Imperial college london - UC berkeley

Hard to say because you are a non-US national…I’d say those A*'s and A’s are pretty impressive though (I’m assuming that admissions will consider those as an AP/IB equivalent…like the LSE)…

I’m not a collegeconfidential “expert chancer,” but I would say that UC Berekeley is a definite match.

Princeton, Stanford - anything in the HYPCCS range is typically a reach for everyone (minus the extremely well qualified). Then again, your stats seem pretty good.

For Imperial College, check the undergraduate admissions for each class. UK universities look highly on ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT and your PERSONAL STATEMENT. When you fill out your personal statement for your UCAS application, only 25% should be dedicated to extracurricular activities… I’m planning to apply to the London School of Economics - I hope I’m in that 7% admission pool.

I’m unsure with regard to MIT and NYU Abu Dhabi.

Have you taken the SAT Reasoning Test/ACT and/or SAT Subject Tests for the American schools? (I’m not sure if they are required for Egyptian nationals).

Thanks for the quick reply 1314eternal , to be honest i havent took the SAT’s at all…i’ve never been exposed to them also … good luck with LSE though :D

No problem! If you want to have a taste of the SAT’s, order the CollegeBoard’s Official Sat Guide…the tests are identical to the actual SAT…I also used the princeton review SAT study guide in order to boost my score…

[The Official SAT Study Guide ™: Second Edition](<a href=“Store App”>Store App)

MIT, Stanford, and Princeton require SAT Reasoning Test with 2 SAT Subject Tests OR ACT with 2 SAT Subject Tests

Also, I’m not sure if Imperial College of London requires you to sit exams as do Cambridge and Oxford - they just might…

bumppppppppp

I noticed you posted on the NYUAD thread for this upcoming academic year - did you apply last year a year early?

I do the A-Level pathways too - for entrance for the UK uni’s you’ll need to complete the A-Levels, and typically, get AAA (A is for if you get above 90% in A2 AND above 70% in AS. Weird, I know).

For those US ones, you really, really need to do the SAT’s. Simply because A-Levels don’t come with numbers, and so many people can have the same letter.

Hope that helps! I’m from NZ, by the way, so I’m also an Intl. Applicant.
