please be honest, i appreciate it. good luck to all applying!

What school are you applying to? What major?

It will make a big difference on what your chances are.

All your stuff is pretty legit, the problem is so is everyone else’s stuff. It really is going to come down to those subtle details, those would be what propel you through. I’d say you have a good chance… some programs are more competitive though. For CAS or many of the others I’d say you are solid for Marshall it would depend on your essays.

You would be surprised but even though USC is a big school, essays matter to them incredibly.

I’m actually applying to Marshall. It seems like everytime I do one of these things somebody says “you look good, unless…” and that unless always applies to me haha.

Of course essays matter, that’s why I tried my best to show who I am in them and make my self stand out. hopefully they see that.

is it possible to be rejected from Marshall but accepted to CAS?

For me, it’s too close to call for Marshall. Everything looks pretty good, but the GPA might be a little low. If I had to guess, I’d say you’ll probably be accepted.

Are you interested in playing in the USC Marching Band? If you indicated interested in the USC Marching Band, this might be a factor in your favor. However, I have no idea how many kids try to get into the band.
