Ehem, another chances post.

I would major in PoliSci if you were wondering. The five year Masters in Intl Affairs and internship oppurtunities at Columbia stand out for me (working at the UN?).

Any feedback/advice is appreciated!

don't retake the SAT 1, you're fine, you stand a chance at getting into columbia, the 3/364 stands out, i would not say you stand a good chance, because there are a lot of qualified political/poli sci leaning applicants to columbia, the poli sci dept is very strong, i know nothing about the difficulty to get into the 5 year masters in international affairs, i know sipa people, and many of the sipa projects, research undertakings and internships rock.

btw, working for the UN in my experience is a very cliche aspiration, don't know if it will fly with the admissions committee, because apart from the pr head of Save Darfur nothing suggests a strong commitment to international affairs or politics (which only inhibits the application if you say you want to work for the UN)
