<p>So, on the Common App additional info section, I've uploaded a document that lists the one activity I couldn't fit on the 7 lines, but I also added some information explaining some of the clubs I'm in. The titles of two of the clubs and even the proper position title for my summer job were sort of misleading, or wouldn't fit on the space on the Activities section so I had to abbreviate--is this necessary? Do they care what clubs I was in, or just that I was in clubs? I just put the real the title of the club and mentioned its purpose (Ex: "Various fundraising activities for charity; particular focus on Darfur.")</p>
<p>I'm just concerned about being redundant, but I don't want to have some sort of weird abbreviation that makes no sense. Would it be an insult to their intelligence to state what ESL stands for? I'm an English as a Second Language tutor, and I think most people know what ESL stands for, but some places say ELL and I just didn't want anything to be unclear....</p>
