<p>Norcal dad is correct. Elc status means your are in at Irvine Letters & Science. Last year, SB, Irvine, and Merced were the elc 'guarantee' schools. As long as you take the SAT and graduate from HS, & write a half-way intelligible essay, you are in at Irvine. You will probably recieve a letter from Irvine in the next week or so, saying Congrats. Pay the $60 and you will be happy in March.</p>
