ELC packet

there is still an evaluation process-

Using Test Scores in ELC Evaluations

UC will use SAT II, AP, and IB-Higher Level exam scores in the ELC evaluation process, if those test scores are on the transcript submitted by the high school with the submission packet. Generally, standardized test scores are not included on high school transcripts and UC is not prepared to match test score reports to obtain this information. The school must submit the test scores directly for these scores to be considered.

AND be in the top 4%

so how can it be a done deal if there are other factors that are considered?

Maybe I am missing something, but no one qualifies yet for anything in the UC system, there are still factors to be taken into consideration

As you can see above, an essay is required, tests are looked at, etc...and grades through graduation, that 3.0, is necessary....so "in" is probable, but no means guaranteed if you don't meet the qualifications at graduation
