ELC seondary letter?

i was just reading other posts from 07 about ELC, and they were mentioning that they would get secondary letters with “requests” from different UC’s to apply to their college?
is this still going to happen or just gone now?</p>

<p>My son was designated ELC last year. He did eventually get some follow up letters from different UC’s regarding applying there. Hope this helps.</p>
